Google Apps for Linux Please

I’m a huge fan of Google because it helps me in so many ways and the fact that they continue to churn out FREE applications and API’s for almost anyone to use. I’ve come to the realization that I only have one complaint (other than not hiring me) with Google. You’ll notice that I said “almost anyone” above because not all of Google’s applications can run on a Linux distribution. Although Microsoft still has a vast majority of marketshare when it comes to the desktop space and therefor probably not a sound business decision to port over to Linux, but it’d sure be nice to know you can run any Google app on Linux.

Ruby for serious work

Ruby on RailsIs what Martin Fowler has to say regarding Ruby. Personally, I’ve had Ruby on my “cool languages to check out” list for some time but haven’t set aside that good half a day to investigate Ruby seriously. Now that Mr. Fowler has given his tentative thumbs up the priority for checking out Ruby is going up.
