Decreasing Your Development Time with Tomcat
It seems like I always forget the magic combination for being able to get away with not reloading Tomcat for each class change/compilation. If for nothing else than to document it for myself here’s the quick and dirty on how to set it up.
Futurism 2.0
In my research to find an interesting niche market for my next project, I began reading about Modernist, avant-gard, and Futurist movements. What I read pertained mostly to music, architecture and art. As I thought about it in the context of the present time these movements seem to have a place in the technology evolution. Current trends reject a lot of traditional themes and constantly evolve into “mashups” and “remixes”.
I really don’t have a point here other than it’s sometimes interesting to think about movements or philosophies of the past and give them a modern context.
