  2. Personal Finance software with automatic transaction downloading and categorization.
  3. Random number generator which produces variations depending on the use of the number and previous “positive hits”. For example, produce random lottery numbers based on previous winning numbers.
  4. P2P/Torrent Software which automatically downloads files based on personal preferences. Downloads could also be scheduled to occur during off hours. Family feature to allow family member or friends registration to share downloaded files. Integration with Amazon’s S3 service for storage?
  5. Comparative price vs. features niche product software.
  6. Landscaping business software to track requests for quotes, types of property shrubs/grass, services that customers request. Create an algorithm for larger companies which determines the most effective combinations of staff, routes to client sites, and times.
  7. Police and rescue software which maps crimes and response times. Based on previous calls, determine best patrol routes/times and resources to apply to areas that need them most.
  8. Reservation software for niches such as outdoor excursions and boats.
  9. Best places to live software based on personal and family preferences and relative living expenses.
  10. Outdoor excursion and activity software. Aggregates community or nearby activity information with cost and mapping information based on personal preferences including exercise levels, social interaction levels, proximity, time, etc.

Smart Web Publishing software that continuously monitors traffic patterns of principal site and similar sites to make suggestions such as: type of content, ad placement, intra-site and inter-site navigation, best times to publish. Sort of like continuous feedback to improve the site. Hooks into changes in SE ranks to try to determine what changes might have caused an increase or drop in rankings/traffic.
  12. Job search software for the IT job seeker. Tracks contacts, conversations, resumes (tweaked for submission to specific jobs), location/cost of living, 1099 vs. salary calculations based on personal/family finances and location.
  13. Content/blog post submission engine. Make it easier to submit posts or articles to sites like digg, reddit, etc. Then track in real time the resulting traffic and ratings/diggs.
  14. Product review site builder. A tool to help non-developers put together a product review and comparison site.
